COPE :: Current Events

COPE's Midwest Retreat & Conference will be an opportunity for you to take a break from the hectic pace of life; to rest in the presence of the Lord and others who serve Him in the various aspects of criminal justice minstry.

Child Evangelism Fellowship's rural location 60 miles west of St. Louis, is an ideal setting for a personal retreat as well as a place for fellowship, networking, training and encouragement. Become acquainted with their What Went Wrong? program in which inmates and/or their children receive free, age-appropriate Bible study lessons by mail.

October 4-8 will be Prison Ministry week at CEF. Tour their Mailbox Club facilities (where volunteers check the lessons, pray for the students and write encouraging notes to send back to them) during the conference. Pre-conference events include Wednesday's chapel service and a sneak preview of our Friday evening session. An optional tour to Joyce Meyer Ministries' Headquarters is also available Wednesday, October 6, from 1-5 p.m. Contact the COPE office by September 20 for details.
