The School for Correctional Ministries (SCM) offers Wheaton College accredited Correctional Ministry Credential program with an emphasis in correctional chaplaincy, reentry leadership, or a correctional ministry focus area.

The specific goals and objectives of the SCM are:

- To offer pastors and laypersons the specialized knowledge and skill to minister in a variety of criminal justice areas.

- To increase the effectiveness of volunteers who minister to offenders, their families and other at-risk groups in institutional and community-based settings.

- To serve as continuing education for correctional professionals in leadership positions--either chaplains or directors of nonprofit organizations.
