Bill Glass Champions for Life is going into the prisons in and around the Jackson, Mississippi area. There will be opportunities to minister the saving Word of God to juvenile boys, juvenile girls, county prisoners and state inmates including Mississippi's Female Death Row.
Bikes are welcome and couples on bikes are sought. We need 100 bikes, 250 men and 125 women. Training and spiritual enrichment will be held on Thursday night, May 29, at a local church. We will minister in the units all day Friday and Saturday.

Prison Fellowship and the African-American Fellowship of the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association (MNYBA) are hosting the 2008 Hope Festival on Rikers Island. This evangelistic outreach will share the love of Christ with those behind bars and provide follow-up ministry. There will be 2 sessions per day (9 am - 12 noon and 1-3 pm). All volunteers will receive required training prior to the event and must stay the full day once on the island.
